Ned has 30 years of diverse sales tax consulting experience. Ned services clients located throughout the U.S. on matters of multistate sales tax. These include tax matrix development, voluntary disclosure, audit defense, tax overpayment studies, merger and acquisition consulting, and strategic planning. Ned Lenhart started Interstate Tax Strategies, P.C. in 2003 after serving as Director and Practice leader of the Deloitte sales tax practice of the Atlanta office.
Ned has also worked with the Missouri Department of Revenue as the Director of the Division of Compliance which oversaw the tax audit and criminal investigation operations of the Department. Ned frequently presents on matters of multistate taxation to professional and trade associations and has been featured as a tax expert on several Atlanta radio stations.
Ned holds an MBA from Minnesota State University and is a CPA licensed in Georgia, Alabama, and New York. He resides in Atlanta, GA.
